Impact reports

Learn about our impact reports.

Our planet is our single most valuable resource. That's why we're committed to playing our part in Scotland's journey to a low carbon economy. Every three years we publish a report to share the range of actions we've taken to further the conservation of biodiversity.

We're committed to equal opportunities as an employer and in the services we provide. Every two years we publish a report that sets out our commitment to equal opportunities and charts the progress and steps we're taking to address the needs of under-represented groups.

Equality and Fairer Scotland Duty impact assessments

Under the Equality Act we are required to publish equality impact assessments carried out on certain policies and projects. Our latest assessments, and those we support under Fairer Scotland Duty can be found below.

In line with Scottish Government policy, we publish Island Communities Impact Assessments for new policies, strategies or services that affect Scotland's island communities.

Each year, we publish our net zero framework. This document outlines our approach to helping tackle climate change and looks at economic opportunities that benefit both businesses and the environment.

Previous net zero framework publications

The Community Empowerment (Scotland) Act 2015 introduces a right for community bodies to make requests to Scottish Enterprise for any land or buildings they feel they could make better use of.

Community bodies can request ownership, lease or other rights, as they wish. The Act requires us to assess requests transparently against a specified list of criteria, and to agree the request unless there are reasonable grounds for refusal.

Under the Trade Union Act and Facility Time regulations 2017, we are required to publish a facility time report for relevant officials, detailing time spent on trade union activities.

Understanding how Scottish Enterprise does business is vital to how information can be accessed. The following key documents set the context and framework within which Scottish Enterprise operates.
